Lakeland High School rising sophomore Quentin Livingston is already starting to get college interest on the court.

The summer has been filled with a lot of basketball for Livingston between AAU, fall/spring leagues and team camps. Livingston has started to get on the radar for college coaches. He recently pulled in his first NCAA Division I offer from North Carolina A&T.

“I’m feeling great about it,” Livingston said of his offer. “But it doesn’t end there, got to keep working.”

Only being a sophomore, Livingston is setting himself up to have as many suitors as he’d like by the time he is a senior. He could also become one of the hot names in the basketball scene in Hampton Roads in the next couple of years. A strong summer playing with the Boo Williams Summer League team and Lakeland team camps will have colleges eyeing Livingston’s progress as he enters his sophomore season.

As school starts back in a little less than a month, Livingston has been happy with Lakeland’s progress this summer.

“As a team, we know what we are capable of, and we have been beating some good teams this summer,” he said. “We have to keep working and making sure we focus on the Lakeland Cavaliers.”
