David Wayne Halley, 50, died on Aug. 29, 2018, at his home in Suffolk, of natural causes. David is the son of Carmen and Michael Halley, of Suffolk; the brother-in-law of Tammy Halley, and the proud uncle of Sarah Rachael Halley, both of Gainesville, Fla. David also leaves dearly-loved aunts, uncles and cousins, and his special feline companion, Lily.

He was pre-deceased by his brother, Jeffrey Michael Halley, last August.

David is a graduate of Kempsville High School, Virginia Beach, and attended Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at Parr Funeral Home, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434. A private graveside service will be held at Limestone Cemetery, Rockport, W.Va., at a later date.

Instead of flowers, David would best be remembered and honored with donations to Suffolk Christian Church, 216 N. Main St., Suffolk, VA 23434, marked for the Sarah R. Halley Education Fund.
