“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20

Has there ever been a time when you needed God to do something for you that seemed impossible? Do you really feel that nothing is impossible with God?

The woman said, “My baby is sick, and the doctor said he has done everything he can do. I want to believe that The Lord can heal her, but part of me can’t believe.”

We must believe that God can do anything. Why? Because He is God, the one who is the Creator of heaven and earth. There are times when things look dim, and when things look far-fetched, and out of control, we do in fact often lose faith. When this happens, we must remember who God is, and what He is able to do. We must have this radical faith, the faith that will accept and believe in an awesome God who is able to do anything.

Paul is sharing with the Christian believers that it doesn’t matter what it is in life that we face, or that we are up against — it’s not too much for God. The people would believe for some things, but fail to believe God for other things.

Paul closes out this third chapter praising God, and encouraging The Church that just because it may appear to be out of control, or done away with, if we have radical faith, this far-reaching faith, and this unmeasured faith, God will show us something special.

  • Know that you have His power working in you.
  • Know that it takes faith to grasp what we want to happen.
  • Know that God is the same as He was yesterday, today and forever.

Whatever He did for you yesterday, he can still do it today. If He did it before, He can do it again. He wants us to have radical faith. Having radical faith gets positive results. Your faith should be rooted so deep in God that nothing can change how you feel about Him. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think, according to the power that operates in us.

It doesn’t take much faith for God to move something big.
