Hurricane Florence hasn’t changed course since the morning, and meteorologists at National Weather Service Wakefield don’t anticipate any big changes before the weekend.

“Things haven’t changed with the latest advisory, and things are on track with what we have been forecasting,” said meteorologist Ryan Rogers.

The National Weather Service anticipates the worst of the impact to happen on Friday with rain and wind subsiding by Saturday.
