Police investigate accident, shooting

Suffolk Police are investigating a single-vehicle accident and shooting incident that happened Saturday night.

The incident was reported at 8:04 p.m., according to a city press release. Police responded to Route 58 eastbound near the Wilroy Road exit to find a passenger vehicle that had struck a guardrail and has evidence of a shooting.

There were no injuries, the release stated.

There is no suspect description, as the investigation is in the preliminary stages, and no further information was available for release.
