The Lakeland High School field hockey team put together another shutout on the season Monday evening.

Lakeland defeated Southampton High School 8-0 in a home matchup Monday evening. It was a big win and a good start to the week for the Lady Cavs, who have three games in three days this week.

Makayla Snyder led the team with two goals. Six different Lady Cavs scored, with Kaleigh Bell getting another shutout under her belt.

Lakeland is back at it again Tuesday evening on the road against Booker T. Washington High School. The Lady Cavs will play at 4:30 p.m.
