Brooke Mills scored five goals in the Lady Cavs’ shutout win over Indian River Wednesday evening.

Lakeland High School defeated Indian River 10-0. For the second consecutive week, the Lady Cavs put up very good numbers. The team has won four of its last five games and scored more than 30 combined points in that span.

Brooke Mills scored five goals to lead the team, while Aryn Kinsey followed with two goals. Darcy Kilgore, Allison Thompson and Makayla Snyder also added a goal each. Lakeland finished the week 2-0 and didn’t allow their opponents to score a point.

The Lady Cavs will go to New Kent High School Monday and will look to add another win.
