Members of the Churchland Rotary Club gathered on Sept. 22 to clean Dunedin Park in Chesapeake as part of the Adopt-A-Park program. The Rotary members restored overturned picnic tables, removed garbage and debris, fallen tree limbs and cleaned the park’s barbecue pits and picnic shelters.

At the end of the day, the Rotarians had filled 55 39-gallon bags of trash, leaves and sticks and picked up around 100 pounds of tree limbs. The objective of this community service project was to restore the park to a condition where the local community residents and their families can enjoy the park.
