Nansemond River High School’s field hockey team got an impressive road win over Hickory High School Wednesday evening.

Nansemond River took down a prominent Hickory team 2-1. Both Nansemond River and Hickory are considered among the best teams in South Hampton Roads.

The Lady Warriors were able to come out on top, getting goals from Halle Fago and the game-winning goal from Lauren Ratkovich.
