Norfolk Academy field hockey defeated Nansemond-Suffolk Academy 10-0 on Wednesday in the conference semifinals.

NSA took the hard loss after winning their quarterfinal matchup against Steward School Tuesday afternoon. With the loss, NSA will now be in wait-and-see mode to see if they will make the state tournament and who a possible opponent could be.

The win Tuesday against Steward School may have likely solidified their spot in the tournament. The top eight teams make it, and NSA came in at No. 7 in the most recent poll.
