The Bulldogs took a 49-10 road loss to Oscar Smith High School in the regular season finale.
King’s Fork High School will finish the regular season with a 5-5 record after a loss to Oscar Smith. It is the fourth loss in a row for the Bulldogs but came in a tough environment. The Bulldogs had to go on the road to take down the juggernaut and couldn’t repeat last year’s upset.
Oscar Smith went up 14-0 after one quarter. The Tigers were up as many as 28 before the Bulldogs earned a safety with about five minutes left in the half to cut the lead to 28-2. Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, the Tigers continued to be too much, pushing their lead up 42-2 at the half.
The Bulldogs did get on the board one more time but were unable to come close. Now, the Bulldogs will wait for seeding and opponent they will face in the Class 4 Region A playoffs.
