Nansemond River High School field hockey team had three representatives on the Class 5 Region A teams.

The Lady Warriors enjoyed another strong season under coach Allison Dize. They advanced all the way to the regional semifinals before their season ended. Because of a strong regular season and regional play, the Lady Warriors had multiple players selected to the All-Region teams.

Sarah Rhiel and Allie Fischer led the way with first team all-region selections. Both Rhiel and Fischer were first team all-district selections as well. Emily Binley was selected second team all-region. Binley was the Co-Player of the Year in the Southeastern District. Faith Bibbo was an honorable mention. Bibbo, like her other three teammates, was also an all-district selection.

The Lady Warriors may also have a couple of players represented on the All-State teams as well.
