NR’s solid defense helps in win over Grassfield

The Lady Warriors are 1-1 on the season after a 41-28 win over Grassfield High School Tuesday night.
After a tough loss last Friday night, the Nansemond River High School girls’ basketball team was able to bounce back Tuesday night with the win. Their solid defense was able to hold Grassfield to less than 30 points.
Nansemond River will be home Friday night when they take on Western Branch High School.
