Warriors off to 2-0 start

The Warriors are 2-0 on the season with a 60-52 win over Grassfield High School Tuesday night.
Nansemond River High School boys’ basketball team has gotten off to its best start in recent years. The Warriors went on the road and were able to squeeze a victory past a formidable Grassfield team.
Rayshawn Murray, Jeremiah Lewis and Justin Fatherly were all in double-figures for the Warriors. Murray added 14, with Lewis adding 13 and Fatherly adding 13. Lewis grabbed 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.
Warriors will go for win No. 3 Friday against Western Branch High School on the road at 7 p.m.
