Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Alivia Giles, junior, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy basketball: Giles scored 29 points in the Lady Saints’ win over Hampton Roads Academy.
• Keontae Boyette, senior, King’s Fork High School basketball: Boyette scored 23 points in a win over Grassfield High School.
