Police ID suspect in shooting

Suffolk Police have identified a suspect in a recent shooting and are seeking the public’s assistance locating him.

Travis Cobrial Chalk, 40, is wanted on charges of aggravated malicious wounding, shoot, cut or wound, use of firearm in commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a felon, and discharge of a firearm in public.

The shooting took place about 1:18 a.m. Dec. 9 in the 300 block of Spruce Street. An adult male victim suffered a gunshot wound to his leg.
