Suffolk native Chris Shearin signed his National Letter of Intent to play football at the University of Missouri.
Back in July, the Suffolk native and former King’s Fork High School standout Chris Shearin committed to Missouri. Shearin, who finished up his senior year at IMG Academy in Florida, played three years of football at King’s Fork. At King’s Fork, he was a starter as a freshman at defensive back. He started to catch the eyes of top schools as a sophomore and junior.
After his junior year, he felt it was best for him to attend IMG Academy, a powerhouse high school in Florida. During the early signing day period, Shearin decided to stick with Missouri by signing his National Letter of Intent.
Shearin was a part of the King’s Fork 2017 season, which saw them become district champions while also holding the No. 1 seed in the Class 4A region. During his junior season at King’s Fork, he was an All-District, All-State and All-Region player.
