Suspect sought in stabbing

Suffolk Police are investigating a stabbing that happened early Wednesday and seeking a suspect.

The stabbing happened in the 2600 block of Riddick Drive and was reported around 7:49 a.m., according to a city press release.

Two victims were taken by ground ambulance to an area hospital and treated for injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

A suspect reportedly left the scene in a stolen vehicle belonging to one of the victims, according to city spokesman Tim Kelley. The vehicle was recovered in Henrico County later Wednesday by Virginia State Police.

Warrants are on file for Bryan Lamont Davis, 46, of Suffolk, for one count of grand larceny, two counts of assault: shoot, cut or stab in commission of a felony, and two counts of aggravated malicious wounding.
