Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Keimari Artis, junior, Lakeland High School basketball: Artis won the King’s Fork High School Holiday Tournament MVP as Lakeland took home the championship.

Jalil Langston, junior, Nansemond River High School basketball: Langston scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds in a win over Smithfield High School.

Keontae Boyette, senior, King’s Fork High School basketball: Boyette scored 21 points in the Bulldogs’ win over Deep Creek High School.
