The Cavaliers boys’ basketball team fell to 9-3 Tuesday night with a home loss to Indian River High School.
Lakeland took only its third loss of the season with the 65-57 loss. It is the first time all season that Lakeland High School has lost back-to-back games. However, the Cavs still remain in good shape. Quentin Livingston led the Cavs with 17 points.
Things will get a little intense for the Cavs Friday night when they go on the road to take on King’s Fork High School. These two teams met two weeks ago in the Bulldogs Holiday Tournament, with Lakeland taking the win to advance and later win the championship. The Bulldogs will be looking to tie the series up at home, while Lakeland will look to avoid its third straight loss.
