Young’s 30 leads KF to win

Nylah Young put up another 30 points in the Lady Bulldogs’ win over the Lady Warriors Tuesday night.
The King’s Fork High School Lady Bulldogs team hosted Nansemond River Tuesday night, with the Lady Bulldogs taking a 70-32 win. It is the 11th win of the season for the Lady Bulldogs. Young led the way again with another 30 points to go with 10 rebounds, as she was averaging a notch under that for the season with 29 points per game. She is the leading scorer in South Hampton Roads and continues to increase her total.
Taylor Paquette led the Lady Warriors in scoring with 19 points.
Neecole Brown played a solid game adding 17 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds.
King’s Fork will now shift its focus to Lakeland High School Friday night, as they will go on the road to try to go to 2-0 this week against its rivals. Nansemond River will host Hickory High School Friday night.
