Joseph McKinley Scott, 48, of Corapeake, N.C., transitioned Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, at Zion Tabernacle Church, Corapeake, N.C. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
