Carlton H. Cherry, 68, of Confederate Avenue, Portsmouth, transitioned Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at the Hampton VA Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Cemetery.
