Lady Bulldogs stifle Lady Cavs

The Lady Bulldogs girls’ basketball team won big on the road last Friday night over rival Lakeland, 52-24.
Nylah Young went for 21 points as King’s Fork High School got its ninth win of the season, putting them at 9-3. Defensively, the Lady Bulldogs were stout, not allowing any Lakeland High School player to score in double figures.
King’s Fork will go on the road to take on Indian River High School at 7 p.m. Tuesday, and Lakeland will take on Hickory High School at home at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
