The Suffolk Christian Academy girls’ basketball team got its sixth win in a row last Friday over Gateway Christian.

The SCA Lady Knights have been on a hot streak as of late. Shortly before the holiday break started, the Lady Knights won a holiday tournament, and fresh off the new year, they won another tournament, winning three games straight.

With the 38-32 win over Gateway Christian, SCA added another game in the win column on their way toward a stellar record for the season.

Laura Cornette led the team with 10 points. Tawnee Steele, Jadyn Patton and Anna Rennie all added eight points apiece. Rennie added eight rebounds as well, with Heather Pearson contributing nine rebounds and Cornette adding eight.
