NSA grabs fourth consecutive double-digit win

The Lady Saints grabbed their fourth consecutive double-digit win with a 52-20 win over Norfolk Christian School Tuesday night.

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball team has improved its record to 11-4 on the year. They had a road matchup with Norfolk Christian in which the Lady Saints had no problem taking care of business. The recent streak of win margins has been impressive for this Lady Saints team. In their last four games, they have won by at least 20 points.

NSA started off the first quarter with a 19-8 lead. In the second quarter, they only allowed Norfolk Christian to score two points, giving them a 31-10 lead at the half. Three Lady Saints finished the game in double-figure scoring. Alivia Giles led with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Cammy Reid had 15 points and eight rebounds. Alyssa Waddy finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Lady Saints will take on Hampton Roads Academy on the road at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
