NSA bests HRA

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ basketball team defeated Hampton Roads Academy for the second time this season Friday.

NSA went on the road to take on HRA and took the game 50-42. It was a special win for the Saints, as Coach Chris Fuhrmann returned to HRA for the first time since leaving there to take the NSA job.

Jaden Freeman added 23 points, with George Pettaway adding 12. The Saints are now 12-4 on the season and will go on the road Tuesday night to take on Bishop Sullivan Catholic School.
