A Suffolk fire station will reopen this Saturday following the replacement of the concrete apron in front of the engine bay, according to a city press release.

Station 4, at 837 Lake Kilby Road, has been closed since Jan. 9. Staff and equipment were temporarily reassigned to Station 6 on Kings Fork Road.

The affected staff and equipment will move back to Station 4 beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, the press release stated.
