Gertrude Gwaltney, 85, of Atlantic Avenue, Ivor, transitioned Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at her residence. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 17165 Racetrack Road, Ivor, VA 23866. The Rev. Leslie Holloway Jr. will deliver the message of comfort. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
