The Harris Teeter located in the Marketplace at Harbour View will close on Feb. 19, Communication Manager Danna Robinson wrote in an email, while the new location down the road is expected to open “shortly after” the current store’s closing.

The new store will be in the former Farm Fresh building, located in the Bennett’s Creek Crossing shopping center at the intersection of Bridge Road and Shoulders Hill Road, less than three miles from the Harbour View spot.

Associates at the current Harris Teeter store will be offered the opportunity to transfer to another Harris Teeter location, Robinson wrote in an email earlier this month.

“We will work closely with our valued associates to assist them through the closing process,” she wrote.

More information is expected to be released in the near future.
