Saints take loss to Christchurch

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy boys’ basketball took a home loss to Christchurch School Thursday night.
The Saints took two consecutive losses for the first time this season this week. With both games at home, lost to Norfolk Collegiate and then followed that up with a loss to Christchurch.
The 53-41 loss to Christchurch put the Saints at 14-7 on the season. Kemauri Spencer led the way with 19 points for the Saints.
NSA is still in good playoff positioning as the regular season comes to an end and conference tournaments start up. For the past couple of weeks, NSA has been ranked No. 8 in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II state poll.
The Saints will take on Cape Henry Collegiate at home at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Saints will be looking to break out of their first losing streak of the season.
