Police investigate armed robbery

Suffolk Police are seeking an armed robbery suspect who dressed up like a woman for the robbery but kept his mustache and goatee.
The robbery was reported at 10:05 a.m. Friday at the Approved Cash location in the 800 block of West Constance Road, according to a city press release.
The suspect was described as a black male with a medium complexion, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a multi-colored dress, wearing a wig and carrying a purse. The man had a mustache and goatee.
He entered the business, produced a firearm, demanded currency from an employee and fled the store on foot, the press release stated.
