Harris Teeter will unveil its new North Suffolk location on Wednesday in the Bennett’s Creek Crossing shopping center, located at 3675 Bridge Road. The company will hold its ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m.

This new Harris Teeter will replace the Marketplace at Harbour View Harris Teeter, which closes on Tuesday, according to the press release. The new store will be less than three miles from the Harbour View location, and will feature a hot foods bar, salad bar, fresh sushi and a sub shop, just to name a few of the amenities.

The 59,000-square-foot space is also the third of the former Farm Fresh stores in Hampton Roads that Harris Teeter purchased in May 2018.

“We are thrilled to introduce the third Farm Fresh-conversion Harris Teeter to our Suffolk neighbors,” Danna Robinson, communication manager for Harris Teeter, stated in the press release. “Harris Teeter has deep roots in this area, and we look forward to continuing to serve our Suffolk neighbors while honoring the legacy of the neighborhood’s former grocery store.”

The store’s normal hours will be from 5 a.m. to midnight.
