Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Kori Carter, senior, Nansemond River High School track: Carter won the state title in the 55-meter hurdles for Nansemond River.

Cammy Reid, freshman, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy basketball: Reid scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a win against Seton School to send NSA to the state semifinals.
