Fred D. Sparrow, 72, of Aurora, passed away March 7, 2019.

He was born May 8, 1946 in Suffolk, the son of William and Marie (Barnes) Sparrow. He was a graduate of East Suffolk High School. On Feb. 14, 1982, he married Geraldine DeCluette, in Aurora, Colo.

Fred is survived by his wife, Geraldine Sparrow; three sons, Rheandel J. Sparrow, Sean D. Sparrow,and Charles DeCluette; daughter, Dede Gillespie; four grandchildren, E.J. Gillespie Jr., Dillon Sparrow, Zoey Sparrow and Tyson DeCluette; two sisters, Bertha Taylor and Lucille Dildy; brother, William Sparrow; and aunt, Magdalena Barnes. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marie and William Sparrow; two sisters, Princess Sparrow and Willie Mae Sparrow; and brother, John Sparrow.
