Diane Warren Whitmore, 76, passed away on March 19, 2019. She was born in Hertford County, N.C., the daughter of the late Charles Harrell Warren and Celene Connelly Chambers Warren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles Thomas Whitmore; loving son, Brian Keith Whitmore; and loving granddaughter, Lacey Marie Whitmore. She was predeceased by her sister, Ginger Sue Gardner, and brother, Charles Warren. She also leaves behind sisters, Connie Efird and Nancy Jones; brother, Dean Warren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Diane was a beautician for 45 years.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2019, at First Baptist Church, 237 N. Main St., Suffolk. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
