Lady Bruins top Lady Bulldogs

The King’s Fork High School softball team fell to Western Branch High School Tuesday evening.
The Lady Bulldogs hosted Western Branch and fell 6-3. King’s Fork was able to hold a 2-0 lead until the fourth inning, where the Lady Bruins scored a run. A big fifth inning by the Lady Bruins pushed them over the top to take the lead and hold off the Lady Bulldogs.
Cali Hinnant pitched the whole game and had 11 strikeouts. She went 2-4 from the plate with two RBIs. King’s Fork had five hits total. King’s Fork will place Oscar Smith High School on the road at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
