The Lady Saints softball team put up a shutout against Isle of Wight Academy at home Tuesday afternoon.

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball team got its fourth shutout so far on the season with a 10-0 win over IWA. NSA scored seven runs between the fourth and five innings to drive the shutout home.

Reese Byrd got the win in the circle, striking out five. She is now 3-0.

Jessica Chang went 2-3 with two runs and three RBIs. Gabby Infranco went 3-4 with two runs and two RBIs. NSA will take on Peninsula Catholic High School Thursday afternoon at home at 4:30 p.m.
