NSA goes to 7-0

The Lady Saints softball team went to 7-0 on the season with a home win over Peninsula Catholic High School Thursday afternoon.
The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball team played its second of three games this week when they took down Peninsula Catholic. With the 15-0 win, the Lady Saints notched their third consecutive shutout.
The Lady Saints scored all 15 of their runs in the first three innings. Reese Byrd pitched again and got the win in the circle, striking out eight. She also went 1-1 with three RBIs.
NSA will face Western Branch High School on the road Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. They will also face Fuqua High School at home Saturday at 11 a.m.
