Laquita “Money Queen” Lakan Jacobs, 28, of Daisy Reid Avenue, Woodbridge, transitioned Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church. She was the daughter of Joyce M. Boone (Bobby) and Larry Jacobs (Dana).

She was a class of 2008 graduate of Lakeland High School and matriculated to Virginia Commonwealth University, where she graduated in 2013 with a degree in mass communications — print journalism. She was currently employed with Geico in Fredericksburg.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Joyce M. Boone (Bobby); father, Larry Jacobs (Dana), both of Suffolk; three sisters, Lorean Jacobs, Destiny Jacobs and Tempest Johnson; maternal grandmother, niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2019, at East End Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
