Warriors keep Hornets scoreless
The Nansemond River High School boys’ soccer team got a 2-0 win at home Tuesday evening.
In the aftermath of a rainstorm Monday evening that washed out most games, the Warriors were able to compete Tuesday. They hosted Deep Creek High School and were able to get a shutout win.
Taylor Jones and Tucker Leverone both scored a goal for the Warriors. Morgan Magrisi had the shutout for Nansemond River.
The win moves Nansemond River to 4-0 on the year as they prepare to head to South Carolina for spring break next week.
