The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy baseball team came in at No. 5 on the weekly Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association poll.

The Saints sit at 8-4-1 on the season and came in at No. 5 in the weekly VISAA Division II poll. In its last three games, NSA has lost two of them, which put the team back from one spot in this week’s poll.

The Saints have an opportunity to reel off some more wins before the postseason starts for them in early May.

Last Thursday, NSA took a 4-2 loss to Norfolk Academy. They have two games set for this week, including Senior Day Tuesday against Norfolk Collegiate at 4:30 p.m.
