Two more victims found after shooting

Suffolk Police have identified two additional gunshot wound victims in their investigation of a shooting that happened late Saturday.

Police were notified of gunshots in the area of Haskins Drive around 11:37 p.m., according to a city press release.

At 11:39 p.m., police and firefighters also responded to a single-vehicle accident at Portsmouth Boulevard and Suburban Drive, the release stated. The adult male driver of that vehicle was found to be suffering from a gunshot wound along with injuries from the accident.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in serious condition, the release stated.

Both of the additional individuals responded to local hospitals for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening, the press release states.

The shooting and accident remain under investigation, and no additional information is available, the release stated.
