Great Bridge too much for Bulldogs

The Bulldogs baseball team fell to Great Bridge High School on Monday evening.
King’s Fork took the 16-3 loss. Great Bridge is considered one of the more talented teams in the area, which made it a tough outing for the Bulldogs. Great Bridge was able to score at least two runs in each of the five innings of the game.
Thomas Beale handled the bulk of the pitching for the Bulldogs and took the loss on the mound. Landon Martino went 2-2 with an RBI to lead the Bulldogs from the plate. King’s Fork totaled six hits on the evening.
The Bulldogs have a tough slate of opponents this week, but they hope they can continue to push through for competitive games or wins.
