On May 11, 2019, the angel of the Lord carried home our beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, niece, aunt, cousin and friend, Stephanie Lorraine Bailey, 51, of Suffolk, to eternal rest.

A native of Suffolk, she was a 1986 graduate of Forest Glen High School.

Stephanie was employed at Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service and Kroger. She was also employed at Hall Chevrolet until her health began to fail.

At an early age, she joined New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Althenia and Lester Johnson.

Stephanie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents, Betty and William Bailey; three children, Travious (Andrea) Bailey, Demetrius Bailey and Diamond Bailey; six grandchildren, Christien Bailey, Takiya Bailey, Cayden Bailey, Chloe Bailey, Keelin Bailey and Kaleigh Branch; three brothers, William Bailey Sr., Carlos Bailey and Keevin Edwards; one sister, Angie Holland; one stepson, Dashad Robinson; three stepdaughters; and a host of other family and friends.

Ms. Bailey’s visitation will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A celebration of life service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019, at New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministries Church, and she will be laid to rest in the T.E. Cooke-Overton Garden of Carver Memorial Cemetery.
