The King’s Fork High School boys’ tennis team had a couple of players advance in the Class 4 Region A singles and doubles tournament.

The Bulldogs competed in the singles and doubles Class 4A region tournament Monday morning and will have two players advancing.

Giancarlo Cecchini won against Steven Chen of Denbigh High School 6-1, 6-2. He then went on to win against Jahya Hawk-Parker of Heritage High School 4-6, 6-1, 6-2. He will play against Raj Vora of Lafayette High School Tuesday.

On the doubles front, Cecchini will be joined by Saji Sharma, as they won in the first round of doubles against Woodrow Wilson 6-0, 6-2. They will play Tuesday in the second round against Heritage. The matches will be held at Huntington Park in Newport News.
