Suffolk Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Monday evening.

The shooting was reported at 7:11 p.m. in the 300 block of Kilby Avenue, according to a city press release.

A 21-year-old male victim, from Suffolk, was treated and released at a local hospital, according to an updated press release on Tuesday.

The information is ongoing, and there is no further information available, the release stated.
