Shooting victim recovering

The victim of a Sunday morning shooting has been identified as a 23-year-old man from Suffolk.
The man remains hospitalized in fair condition, according to a city press release.
He was injured in a shooting Sunday morning in the area of South Saratoga and Boat streets.
The shooting was reported at 11:05 a.m., according to a city press release.
The man was taken by ground ambulance to a hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening, the press release stated.
The investigation is ongoing.
