Senior Caleb Pittman was selected first team All-Region for Nansemond River High School.

Pittman recently finished up a strong senior season for Nansemond River. Pittman was able to showcase his skills as one of the top pitchers in the district and region. In the only region game the Warriors played, a close loss to Hickory High School, Pittman pitched a complete game and struck out five.

Pittman was also selected first team All-District at pitcher as well, being the only representative from a Suffolk school to do so this season. Pittman said it was an honor being selected to All-District and All-Region teams because of how much talent the area has in baseball. He went 6-2 on the mound this season for the Warriors.

Pittman will continue his career at the next level, as he is committed to play for Bryant & Stratton College.
