Lisa Stuprich was selected to the Class 3 Region A softball team for the Lady Cavs.

Lakeland High School’s softball team, despite being very young, had a strong season this year. As smallest school in the Southeastern District, Lakeland was able to be in some competitive games against some of the top competition in the district.

Outside of the district, Lakeland was able to take care of business against fellow conference mates during the regular season that earned the team a region tournament berth. Despite a shutout loss in the region tournament, the Lady Cavs had an All-Region representative in Lisa Stuprich.

Stuprich had a strong season for Lakeland, at outfield as she was an All-District selection as well.

Stuprich was an All-Region selection as a sophomore as well. As a junior, Stuprich could be headed for a big senior season next year.
